Objectives:

• Provide a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere to support Muslim youth

• Improve communication and enlist new members to the brothers group

• Help the youth in their physical, social, emotional and religious growth

• Provide regular purposeful activities for the youth

• Organize activities/competitions that enable our youth to meet other Muslims

• Provide opportunities to work with the homeless and the needy

• Provide opportunities to work with the elderly and nursing homes

• Organize fund-raising activities

• Recruit volunteers for a variety of MAV events

• Organize family events

• Train and prepare for the youth to become the leaders of tomorrow

A young person must be guided towards what is right. This includes teaching of beliefs and actions of religion, good manners, and moral and social values. He should be taught about healthy ways of living, having good relationships with others, living useful life in the terms of helping and serving others. This type of training is done through talking to the youth, showing a good example, being in places of religious learning, involvement with the religious community, and an awareness of the Muslim Ummah.
